September log: Graphics and animation.

I've started popping in a diary of new features which I am working on, and trying to improve as best that I can. So far in September I have been preparing a variety of new sounds, music and frame animations. It's really becoming a neater and more well thought out world. This is all rendered in RPG Maker VX Ace, and much of what you will see has taken quite allot of time to make.

Let's start with a throw back to how it used to look back in 2019! The old RPG Maker assets. XD

2020! Added Objects made in Photoshop. Began tile set editing. Bigger screen.


Fishing Improvements. Frame animation. 2021! So much has been remodelled and customised!


I have now added an auto option for those who would like to earn fish. Catching fish can earn you some money, and fish can be cooked to be used for eating and healing the whole party. The mechanic is difficult I think for many. I have made being able to fish a more simpler task, but those who auto fish will find that it is tough to catch as many fish as you could if you learned how to do the fishing manually. It'll be well balanced, so take more time to enjoy the fishing spots laid around the world you explore.

Large leafy trees waving, and growing canopy gently rocking with the wind. Look even more and you'll see a few more animated items! These were hand animated, and it is something I have been learning to do, and trying to do better. I only have 3 frames of animation, and these are looking quite well done. :) With the new sound effects, winds and atmosphere coming, you'll feel like you're there in some way.

Lastly.

The update may be a little late, as you can see. I hope I can be forgiven for the time it has taken to build on the quality of the game. I hope this can be one that many will play in the future and really enjoy. That's all from me for now! Take great care out there.
