You'll find the forest has many great features, some forests also have similar activities. Each forest will contain many fishing spots and craft camps. Depending on the danger level of an area NPC's may roam and medic houses will be near by.

Monsters roam free in the forest. Some will be easier than others. Just approach the monster and press the action button to begin a battle.

Varoona Forest has many features to it which you may not find in other forests, each one is unique to the other in it's looks also.

You may gather herbs and mushrooms here also. Remember that these can be sold to herbalists, or you can use them to heal and recover health and Mind Points.

Travellers basket:

You'll find many of these, some in plain sight, while some can be hidden. Try to open as many as you can as they will reward you with an item left by a kind adventurer. Every 10 of these will grant an additional reward.

Daily Buff crystals are found in the forest and many other places. These crystals offer a boost for battling every day in game. You'll also receive a Crystal Fragment. These have special uses later in the game.

Explorer Varoona Forest all you need, it has everything for the adventurer to find materials, food and a place to unwind with some fishing. It's a great spot to visit.
